Wet and dry rising mains are for use by the fire brigade or other trained personnel. They provide an instant means of delivering vast quantities of water to extinguish or prevent the spread of fire.

Wet risers are pipes that are kept permanently charged with water from either a storage tank (via a booster pump) or direct from your town's main water supply.

Dry Risers are vertical mains, that are installed into staircase enclosures, stairwells or other suitable positions. Outlet valves are fitted on each floor and inlets fitted at ground level to allow the fire brigade to connect to the water supply.
